We recently added a new option to the Notifications section of your Account called, Email Frequency.
With this new option you can choose if you’d like to receive notifications about transfers, suggested edits, merges and more as they happen (the way they have come in the past) or get a daily digest that includes all those updates from Find a Grave in one email each day. Not all the notifications have been added to this Daily Digest, you’ll still get account related emails and some other messages as they happen, but for those who receive a lot of email related to Find a Grave, this may help simplify things a bit.
One exciting addition for this new Daily Digest is the number of edits suggested to memorials that you manage. In the past, we haven’t sent notifications when you received edit suggestions because we worried some managers would be overwhelmed by messages, but with this Digest email, you can get a notification when someone suggests a change to a memorial you manage.
The digest email doesn’t contain details, but shows you a number of new messages, suggested edits, photo requests, etc. and then links to the site where you can see the details and take action.
You can see and try out the new Email Frequency option in the Notifications section of Your Account.
